The Brazil Experience Pavilion was designed for the Dubai EXPO 2020 to showcase and represent Brazil’s cultural heritage at the EXPO. Programmatically the pavilion will look into innovative ways to present Brazilian landscapes, natural resources in their extraordinary diversity, passing through the most relevant production chains, communities, who through their customs and traditions, use these resources and products to build the kaleidoscope - Brazil’s cultural heritage.
The proposal explores architectural space as a powerful experience based pedagogical platform. The pavilion will be defined by a series of activities, rather than a rigid form. An effervescent public and collective space, where a multitude of dialogues will be initiated through encounter and doing.
The aim is to articulate a cultural manifesto, than an architectural manifesto. It will exist as a place and event, rather than as an abstract object or space.
